The STATIX evolved from our need to be able to monitor our 35 years of concert recordings at the highest level.
Sporting our signature construction - sculptured CNC machined aluminium frames and earpads , the statix uses the highest quality connectors with stators constructed from milspec double-sided oxygen-free copper coated polystyrene board
it uses a complete dual mono approach in HV power supplies with separate individual high speed rectifier diodes applying the charge to the film membrane.

The statix are designed “to get out of the way of the emotional message of the music”. To do this, they must have no sound of their own - be absolutely transparent.
The only way to design audio equipment with these qualities is to have first-hand experience with the fi nest available recording equipment AND playback equipment.
Metaxas instruments have been conceived using extensive listening tests with a variety of state-of-the-art ancillary equipment [and the systems of many customers] over a 40+ year period
